Notes from Kathoga:

"Knockout has seen a little bit of play with unfortunately not much success, and with Lost in Research banned, he's made all that much worse, but in the spirit of the Deck Tech Challenge, I figured I would take a crack at him and center my deck around him and essentially saying "no" to my opponents in the format where I think he would shine the most: Junkion. To that end, I decided to pair him up with Lockdown w/his strat Track Record and ole faithful Flamewar w/her strat Rough and Tumble.

This is essentially a Knockout show. Flamewar literally never flips, and Lockdown should only flip if either Knockout is dead, or if you can ensure the KO to trigger his Bounty. Otherwise, Lockdown doesn't need to flip, what with him being base +7 attack in alt mode and having Tough 2 so long as Flamewar is alive. This is also a primarily going 2nd deck, with in theory the only decks it should worry about are heavy pierce decks.

The "no" aspect of the deck comes from the various cards in the deck to ensure that Knockdown gets his free pings every other turn. For upgrades, you have Drill Arms, Enforcement Batons, Scrapper Gauntlets, Bashing Shield, and Reflector Cell. There's also Field Communicators that could potentially set this up as well. On the actions side, there are 2 Vaporize, which could also be either Reprocess or Disassemble, but since the blue count is a little lower than is ideal, I opted for Vaporize. There's also quite a bit of burn with the Camien Crashes, War of Attritions, and Scouting Missions, and then as far as defense is concerned, we round this out with a full set of Hidden Fortifications.

Lastly, as far as sideboard bots are concerned, I guess another entry for the Deck Tech Challenge would be in order as if Lockdown just isn't cutting it, then perhaps Thunderwing would. Knockout would still be your primary flipper, but now you have the added bonus of having more ping opportunities. Or, you could have a leap of faith (chuckles) and go Two Tall with him and Lockdown and add your favorite 3 star cards to the deck."
